Module objectives/intended learning outcomesAfter completing the lecture process which is carried out actively, students are able to accurately analyze (B, C4) the philosophy of biochemistry, cells and their constituent parts, enzymes, enzyme reaction kinetics, bioenergetics, general metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism and the respiratory chain, so that they are able to develop (P4) the skills to implement the biochemical knowledge obtained in everyday life (A4) independently, accurately and measurably.After completing the lecture process which is carried out actively, students are able to accurately analyze (B, C4) the Krebs cycle, electron transport and oxidative phosphorylation, photosynthesis processes and products, fat metabolism, amino acid metabolism, protein biosynthesis, nucleic base metabolism, so that they are able to develop (P4) the skills to implement the biochemical knowledge obtained in everyday life (A4) independently, accurately and measurably.
ContentThis course aims to strengthen understanding of the Introduction and Function of Biochemistry, Cells and their Components, Enzymes, Enzyme Reaction Kinetics, Bionergetics, General Metabolism, Carbohydrate Metabolism and the Respiratory Chain, Krebs Cycle, Electron Transport and Oxidative Phosphorylation, Photosynthesis, Fat Metabolism, Amino Acid Metabolism, Protein Biosynthesis, Nucleic Base Metabolism.
