| Module objectives/intended learning outcomes | After completing field practice (C), students (A) are able to critically examine (B) instructional materials, school administrative systems, and classroom learning processes through observation activities, and to formulate appropriate follow-up plans based on their observation findings (D).After completing the field practice (C), students (A) are able to design (B) innovative and creative instructional tools (lesson plans, media, student worksheets, teaching materials, and assessment instruments) by utilizing ICT, based on the analysis of observation results, through effective verbal and non-verbal communication and collaboration with mentor teachers and academic supervisors (D).After completing the field practice (C), students (A) are proficient in applying (B) various instructional strategies, approaches, models, methods, media, and assessment instruments in managing ICT-supported classrooms during the teaching and learning process (D).After completing the field practice (C), students (A) are proficient in collaboratively carrying out (B) non-teaching activities, including co-curricular and extracurricular programs, together with mentor teachers and the entire school community (D).After completing the field practice (C), students (A) are able to develop a school field introduction report (B) based on valid and original data (D). |
| Content | The School Field Introduction course is a core component of the undergraduate teacher education program, scheduled in the sixth semester and offered in both odd and even semesters. This course is designed to strengthen students’ academic and pedagogical competencies in their field of study through various school-based activities. In addition, the course aims to provide students with practical and authentic experiences in their roles as subject-matter teachers or educational counselors, while also serving as a platform to apply and assess the competencies acquired in the Microteaching course. The scope of PLP covers the full spectrum of teacher responsibilities, including both academic tasks (curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular) and non-academic duties (administrative and social tasks), carried out in collaboration with the school community. |
