Module objectives/intended learning outcomesStudents are able to analyze microbial development, microbial habitats, microbial utilization, and understand the secondary metabolites produced by microbes through discussions supported by well-established references.Students are able to recognize several forms of microbial intercellular communication, quorum sensing, and microbiological techniques for harvesting microbes and the secondary metabolites they produced through discussions supported by well-established references.
ContentThis course aims to provide students with knowledge related to microbial development, microbial habitats, microbial utilization, understanding secondary metabolites produced by microbes, communication between microbial cells, quorum sensing, and microbiological techniques for harvesting microbes and the secondary metabolites they produce.
