Module objectives/intended learning outcomesDemonstrates an accurate understanding of the basic concepts of curriculum through the implementation of suitable instructional strategies.Through the application of contextual instructional strategies, students demonstrate the ability to accurately analyze the interconnections between curriculum components and instructional practices in schools.Demonstrates the ability to accurately apply and communicate contemporary curriculum innovations, the integration of technology, and the role of teachers as curriculum agents through student-centered instructional approaches.
ContentThis course explains the definition of curriculum, the philosophy of curriculum, the basic concepts of curriculum, curriculum dimensions, the interrelation between curriculum and its dimensions, as well as the functions and roles of the curriculum. By the end of the course, students are expected to be able to apply the principles of curriculum development in schools and within their field of study.
