| Content | This course introduces students to an understanding and insight into the concepts of profession, professional, professionalization, and professionalism; the requirements of a profession; the duties and responsibilities of teachers; teaching skills; the professional code of ethics and teacher professional organizations; teacher/education personnel competencies; teacher performance; the role of teachers in educational administration; professional career development of teachers/education personnel; and performance evaluation of teachers/education personnel. |
