| Content | General Indonesian Language is a compulsory course that must be taken by all students. This course is designed, among other purposes, to strengthen students’ character development. It is offered in both odd and even semesters. The scope of the course covers the history and development of the Indonesian language, its status and functions, the general guidelines of Indonesian spelling, word formation processes, word choice (diction), sentence construction and effective sentences, paragraphs and their development patterns, academic writing, popular scientific writing, comprehension of academic books, exploration of library resources, and the writing of official letters. |
