Module objectives/intended learning outcomesStudents are able to analyze the nature of learning, instructional processes, and the factors influencing learning through discussions supported by well-established references.Students are able to examine students’ learning difficulties in chemistry based on research findings and school-based case studies through systematic group work and exploration activities.Students are able to propose solutions to problems in chemistry learning at school by composing scientific articles in an academic format.
ContentThis course is designed to prepare students to identify and propose solutions to problems in chemistry education through the following activities: (1) analyzing issues that occur in school settings; and (2) reviewing journal articles related to challenges in chemistry learning.
